Bhubaneswar: In the 4th National Seminar on Corporate Social Responsibility Initiative 2019, organised by Institute of Quality & Environment Management Services (IQEMS) and Institute of Public Enterprises (IPE), Hyderabad at Bhubaneswar, Adani Foundation has bagged Kalinga CSR Award for 2018 for its commendable work in the field of CSR. The theme of the Seminar was “Transition to Transformation- the Next Gen CSR”.
It is noted that, Dhamra Port under its CSR programme drive, has been accelerating various programmes on education, health, livelihood, infrastructure development, cattle and environment safety awareness programmes in port peripheral panchayats and villages.
On behalf of the Adani Foundation, the Award was received by Dhamra Unit CSR Head- Satya Ranjan Mishra along with the members of CSR Team selected by the committee comprising of eminent personalities including Dr. Mechael Feiner, Consul General of the Federal Republic of German, Dr S. K Panda, former Secretary Ministry of Textiles, Govt of India, Sri Abasara Beuria, President, Odisha State Productivity Council, Bhubaneswar, Sri Balasubramanium, Director Production, Nalco, Mr Debabrata Panigrahy, CEO, IQEMS and Dr Sulagna Sarkar.
