Paradeep: The Independence Day is being celebrated in India every year on 15th August to commemorate the Independence of our country from the British rule and to honour freedom fighters , gallant armed forces and national heros. IFFCO Paradeep Unit celebrated 72nd Independence Day with great enthusiasm and zeal and patriotic fervor in the Township.
On this occasion all senior officials, employees, Union & Association members and residents of IFFCO Township along with children gathered to witness the grand ceremony and the spectacular parade show. Chief Guest Dr. Udai Shanker Awasthi, Managing Director of IFFCO and Shri A.K.Panda, Unit Head hoisted the national flag and addressed the gathering. In his speech Dr.U.S.Awasthi encouraged each employee to work with dedication and acknowledged their contribution towards the growth of IFFCO. He further informed that IFFCO believes in its commitments to the Society at large as it is a Cooperative Society meant to help the farmers of the country.
On this occasion, the security personnel of IFFCO Paradeep Unit organised the Independence parade and put up an excellent drill and march past show.
At the end Shri A.K.Mall, Dy. General Manager (P&A) deliberated vote of thanks. On this occasion Sh K.J.Patel, General Manager, Sh S.R.Maurya, Dy. General Manager (P&A) ,Sh G.C.Acharya, Dy.General Manager(HR), Sh Mangal Murty, President, IFFCO Officer’s Association,Sh Subashis Mishra,General Secretary IFFCO Officer Association, Sh Suvendu Majhi, President,IFFCO Employee’s Union, Sh Trupti Ranjan Puhan ,General Secretary, IFFCO Employee’s Union and Sh Prasanna Kumar Beura, Administrative Officer were present and witnessed the entire programme.
