7 #COVID19 hospitals have been set up in Odisha with a total capacity of 1,497 beds

Bhubaneswar: In Odisha, 7 COVID19 hospitals have been set up with a total capacity of 1,497 beds. This is informed by the Odisha Govt Spokesperson on Coronavirus, Subroto Bagchi.

MKCG and VIMSAR will start COVID testing soon. The CM has ordered to increase the testing capacity to 1000 per day in next 5 days. CM Naveen Patnaik today held a review meeting with Health Minister for introduction #COVID19 testing facility in south & western Odisha informed Bagchi .

So far 1,888 samples tested in Odisha, out of which 39 were found positive for COVID19; maximum 31 cases in Bhubaneswar says Bagchi. In 5,247 gram panchayats across the State, around 3,27,674 poor & destitute people are being provided cooked food informed Subroto Bagchi.

Consumers cannot visit wholesale markets to purchase vegetables, groceries and medicine etc. No one will be allowed to use vehicles to reach nearby shops or stores.
Neither residents of containment zone can step out of their homes nor outsiders will be allowed to enter the zone till active surveillance is over informed Subroto Bagchi,
