Bhubaneswar: 1st Feb 2020 the 59th Annual cum founder’s day and passing out parade of 45 Class XII cadets, who had joined Sainik School in 2013 -14 as Class VI cadets was organized with great enthusiasm and grandeur.
Commodore Rituraj Sahu, Naval Officer-in-charge, Odisha as the Chief Guest, INS Chilka graced the occasion as the Chief Guest for the events.
On his arrival Gp Capt S Dominic Rayan , Principal Sainik School Bhubaneswar extended him a warm welcome in the presence of Cdr Pritika Sharma, Administrative Officer, Wg Cdr Amitabh Ranjan, Vice Principal, Col DD Swain, Officer Commanding 120 TA Bn, Dr Niranjan Padhi Secretary OBA, Shri G Todkar, Sr Master, all the Staff and 600 Cadets.
On the accasion of founder’s day celebration of the School Gp Capt Rayan , garlanded the statue of Shri Biju Pattanaik and cake cutting by the School Captain . Further the School cadets sang the School song in the praise of their Alma mater.
In the evening Annual cum Parents’ Day was organized with colourful cultural programmes which was highly appreciated by one and all.
