Cuttack: 4th Annual National Agribusiness Conclave held in Sri Sri University on 9th October 2018. The Conference is divided into four sessions.
The Chief Guest Mr K.C. Mishra, Founder of E- Kutir spoke that, democratising Agriculture is the only way in the modern generation. Nutrient- based productivity is the recent priority. What is use of producing so much food if the food does not have the required nutrients to keep oneself disease- free? The business analysis and social impacts should align.
Mr M. Kamal Kumar, Advisor Dhanuka Agritech Limited spoke that, India has to catch up when compared to China in Agri Production. For example, India is the top most producer of Pulses as well the biggest consumer and importer.
Mr P. Vijayaraghavan, CEO, Lawrencedale Agri Processing Pvt. Ltd.spoke about the Agriculture Revolution in India.
Mr Rajendra Padhi, Director General of Utkal Chambers of Commerce and Industry narrated the business environment in Odisha. He enthused students by saying that, nobody can defeat yourself but only you. He also said, in today’s generation Entrepreneurship is not an option but a compulsion.
Prof P. S. Subbarao, Dean, Faculty of Commerce and Management spoke about the Agri Entrepreneurship incubator happening in Sri Sri University in collaboration with Government of Odisha.
The Convener, Mr Barada P. Panigrahi has given the welcome address. The incubation centres of Sri Sri University were encouraged in the day long Conclave.
