Bhubaneswar: As Corona Virus continues to spread, the demand for face mask is rising. More than 400 WSHGs and Producer Groups across the state have geared up to make cotton masks taking advantage of their tailoring experience.
To meet the increased demand for masks due to Corona scare, 400 WSHGs across the state are working day and night to stitch cloth masks in bulk and making 74000 units per day. The masks manufactured by these SHGs are sold at nominal prices at Rupees 15 to 20 per piece.
