New Delhi: 3rd Annual event of Prabasi Odia Utsav-2018 to be held in New Delhi on 26th August. Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan to inaugurate the Prabasi Odia Utsav.
After the grand success of our First Prabashi Odia Utsav at Gurugram in April 2016 organised by “Kalinga Bharati Foundation” and Second Prabasi Odia Utsav at Greater Noida organized by “Odisha Jan Seva Sangathan” in 2017, 3rd Annual event of Prabasi Odia Utsav – 2018 in partnership with “Rashtriya Prabasi Odia Paribar” and with the cooperation of your organization long with more than fifty other Odia Organizations across NCR on 26th August 2018 (Sunday) whole day from 10 AM to 6 PM at Markandeya Bhavan, Chattarpur, New Delhi having capacity to accommodate more than 8000 people.
The main objective of the POU celebration scheduled on 26.08.2018 is to promote our Odia culture, handicrafts and food. As part of the same initiative, we are going to organize a cultural program with arrangement of varieties of delicious Odia food. POU also planning to put stalls to show case our Odisha handicrafts. The organisation also planned to felicitate some prominent Odia members for their outstanding contribution to the society in their respective fields of culture, literature, art, education, social service etc.
