Sambalpur,23.9.2017 : 23rd Company Level Tripartite Safety Committee Meeting was organized by Safety & Rescue Dept. MCL at Officers Club, Jagruti Vihar, MCL HQ on 22nd September, 2017. At the outset of the meeting, Sri D. K. Khanda, Manager (Mining), S&R Dept. formally welcomed all the guests. Lighting of lamp was made by Dr. Asim Kumar Sinha, Dy. Director General, South Eastern Zone, Ranchi, Sri A.K. Jha, CMD MCL, Sri J.P. Singh, Director Technical (Operation), Sri L. N. Mishra, Director (Personnel), Sri O. P. Singh, Director Technical (P&P), other DGMS Officials, Trade Union leaders. It was also attended by Area General Managers, HODs and Executives of Corporate Office of MCL, Area Safety Officers and ISO officials.
Sri S. Roy Choudhury, GM(S&R), MCL briefed the safety status reports of MCL. Detailed discussion was made on the ATRs of the recommendations of 22nd Company Level Tripartite Safety Committee Meeting held on 26.03.2016. Thereafter, suggestions/recommendations were given by Trade Union Representatives, Management and DGMS officials. Sri A.K. Jha, CMD MCL directed the officials of MCL management to comply the recommendations made therein. Dr. Asim Kumar Sinha, Dy DG, SEZ, Ranchi summed up the issues deliberated during discussions and emphasized on the compliance of the recommendations part. The meeting was concluded with vote of thanks by Sri S. Singh.
