Bhubaneswar: The 1st Anniversary celebration of L&D Global Bhubaneswar chapter was held on the 9th July 2017 in IDCOL Auditorium. Over 300 professionals from L&D, HR and Academics participated in the event. The Chapter Director, Dr. Ashok Kumar Sahoo delivered the welcome address. Bhubaneswar Chapter launched L&D Global Podium Talks series on the occasion. Speaking at the Podium Talks series, L&D Global’s founder Surya Prakash Mohapatra said, one require four C (Creator, Creation, Character and Courage), four P (Purpose, Passion, Perceptiveness and Pace) and four D (Domain, Digital, Dialogue and Design) to excel in his professional life. L&Dians should give emphasis to this C,P and Ds. Among others Major General Rustom Pattnaik, Infosys Bhubaneswar Centre HR Head Bobby Pattnaik, Art of Living’s Tapan Mishra delivered their inspirational talk as part of Podium Talk series. Bhubaneswar Chapter Convener, Purnachandra Rao read the annual report of the chapter. A souvenir named as ‘USTAAH’ was released by esteemed guests. Guests also felicitated lesser known talents differently abled dancer Harihar Deo, lady farmer Babuni Sahoo, Paralympics player Pramod Bhagat on the occasion. Dancer Pratyusha Patra, singer Amrita Bharati Panda, Susree Srimaya Ratha, Lalita Krishnan, Mohan Rao performed dance and songs in evening. Arunima Patra and Alka Swain compered the programme. Meeting was coordinated by L&D core committee members, Arun Prasad Sahoo, Saikh Abdul, Muktikanta Patra, Muna Pal, Harekrushna Pattnaik, Raja Singh, Lalatendu Kanungo and Amiya Giri.
