Kaniha: 17th ROPR (Regional Operational Performance Review) ER II was organised at Talcher Kaniha recently i.e 7.10.2017.The meeting was presided by Shri K K Sharma, Director (Operations), NTPC Limited.
Shri Ram Kuber ,Executive Director,Talcher Kaniha on the occasion welcomed Director (Operations) & Shri D K Sood ,RED(ER II) Shri S K Roy ED(OS) & Senior officials of NTPC. The meeting was also attended by Head of Talcher Thermal ,Bongaigoan & Darlipalli power stations which comes under the NTPC Eastern Region II.
Shri Sharma on the occasion addressing the august gathering discussed the various power plant operation functions to improve generation parameters.
Prior to the meeting, Director (Operations) addressed the employees of the power station in an interaction programme organised at Recreation Centre on 6.10.2017.During the two days visit, Shri Sharma also inaugurated Safety Park in presence of senior officials on 7.10.2017.
The safety park will be used to create awareness on safety standards to be followed during work among the workers & employees. Director (Operations) visited stage II control room to review the operation performance of the power station.
