Bhubaneswar: Fifteen Odisha cities record mercury above 35 degree Celsius. Bhubaneswar at its hottest March in 30 years. This is informed the Regional Meteorological Department. Angul, Titlagarh and Balangir also witnessed temperature more than 39 degree Celsius today. As many as 12 other places in the state including Dhenkanal (38.7), Cuttack (37.6), Sambalpur (38.9) and Hirakud (38.3) recorded temperature above 35 degree Celsius forcing people stay indoors.
