Bhubaneswar: 1,176 people have died due to electrocution in the past 10 years in Odisha. 74 elephants & 883 domestic animals have died on account of electrocution during the same period. Rs 22.61 Crore compensation paid by discoms. This was informed by the Minister of State (Home) Captain Dibya Shankar Mishra in Odisha Assembly.
