Bhubaneswar: Eastern India’s first Degree Engineering College exclusively for women, Koustuv Institute of Self Domain (KISD) organized two-day workshop on ‘Safety Riding’ for women in association with Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India Private Limited, from 22nd March 2017 to 23rd March 2017. The Programme was inaugurated by Er. Prabhat Ranjan Mallick, Chairman, Koustuv Group of Institutions.
In his address he laid stress on safety measures and importance of road safety. On this occasion, Dr. Sadasiv Dash, Registrar, Koustuv Group encourages the participants. The workshop witness presentation on Road Safety, explain various aspects of road safety, Traffic rules, Riding training by Honda Riding Trainer, awareness on safety and prevention of accident. On-the-spot competition was also organized to stimulate interest level of students. The activity was supported and facilitated by Khimji Honda, Patia, Bhubaneswar. In the valedictory, all the 77 participants were received certificates in the presence of Prof. (Dr.) Sujit kumar Khuntia, Principal, KISD & Prof. (Dr.) Subrat Kumar Mohanty, Principal, CEB. Prof. Mrutyunjaya Padhi proposed vote of thanks.
