On Vigilance Awareness Week MCL organized the Bidders’ Meet in Rajanigandha

Sambalpur: MCL organized the Bidders’ Meet in Rajanigandha Club, MCL HQ Jagruti Vihar, Sambalpur. The program started with the Corporate Geet of Coal India Limited followed by administering of Integrity Pledge by Shri J. P. Singh, Director (Technical/Operation), MCL. While welcoming Shri S.K. Mohanty, Ex-IRS (IEM), other Functional Directors, Officials, Suppliers, Contactors and other Stakeholders of MCL, Shri K.S. Singh, General Manager (Vigilance) stressed upon the need for a close interaction between the officials & Suppliers, Contactors and other Stakeholders of MCL for realizing the vision of Corruption Free Inida . The Bidder’s Meet was chaired by J. P. Singh, Director (Technical/Operation), in the presence of the Hon’ble Chief Guest Shri S.K. Mohanty, Ex-IRS/ (IEM). The other dignitaries present in the meet were Shri L.N.Mishra, Director (Pers) MCL, Shri O.P.Singh, Director (P&P), MCL HQ, General Managers’/HOD’s of MCL HQ and different Areas of MCL. The Suppliers, Contactors and other Stakeholders of MCL actively participated in the Meet. The total participants in the Bidders Meet were more than 130. The issues aired by the suppliers, contactors and other stakeholders of MCL were satisfactorily replied by the Directors/ the concerned General Managers. While addressing the gathering, Shri S.K. Mohanty, Ex-IRS/ IEM expressed his satisfaction over the lessening of grievances of the Stakeholders compared to the previous year which is indicative of improvement of the internal process of Mahanadi Coalfields Limited.

The Meeting ended with the resolve that the Stakeholders and MCL Management shall work closely together in improving the internal processes so as to realize the vision of making India Corruption Free.
