Bhubaneswar: The State Cabinet today gave its nod to a draft proposal for the formation of much-touted State Legislative Council. The draft would be placed for approval in the upcoming winter session of the State Assembly. This was informed by the Parliamentary Affairs Minister Bikram Keshari Arukh.
The legislative council will comprise of 49 members. 8 proposals approved by cabinet including constitution of Vidhan Parishad.
