Bhubaneswar: Vice President Venkaiah Naidu today lauded the efforts of a Bhubaneswar-based women start-up entrepreneur for her work in developing medical diagnostics for pregnancy disorder Preeclampsia.
Naidu exhorted Director Prante Solutions Dr Sumona Karjee Mishra and husband Dr Aseem Mishra to sincerely involve in research and develop digonistic kits for women as a lot is still needed to be done for them in the country.
The Vice President expressed happiness about the fact that the couple is addressing the problem that might impact many women especially under rural settings.
In the brief meeting in Raj Bhawan today the couple informed the Vice President about the projects on hand and the support received from Startup Odisha, Startup India, DBT-BIRAC and MSME department.
Notably, Aseem and Sumona are the son and daughter in law of senior journalist and Deputy Resident Editor Political Business Daily published from Bhubaneswar.
