Union Minister Retd. General V K Singh holds discussion with ex-servicemen

Bhubaneswar: On the successful completion of three years of Modi Government, Union Minister of State for External Affairs (I/c) Retd. General V K Singh held discussion with ex-servicemen today at IDCOL Auditorium, Bhubaneswar.
General V K Singh was the chief guest of the programme organised by IOCL. On this occasion Minister Shri Singh shared his political journey from a retd army officer. Putting emphasis on the responsibility of ex-servicemen towards the society he said that society has a strong faith on army officers. So, the value of ex-servicemen is very important in the society and gave example of social worker Shri Anna Hajare and his dedication for the country. He said that each soldier needs to have selflessness attitude for the country.
General Shri Singh addressed to various grievances from ex-servicemen who were coming across the state. They presented various demands including permanent employment to the ex-servicemen who are working in government and private companies, impact on ex-servicemen after implementation of GST, setting up of Army Memorial Club in Odisha etc. Union Minister Mr Singh assured them to resolve their grievances soon.
On this occasion CGM, IOCL Mr. Pritish Bharat, General PK Dhalasamant, General Narayan Mohanty, Col. B K Bastia, Social Worker Mr. Prutwiraj Harichandan, Mr. Golak Mohapatra etc. were present and shared their views.
