Bhubaneswar: Social Organization ‘Prachi Trust’ is going to launch ‘Nua Odisha Nirman Abhijan’ before sunrise at Chandrabhaga Sea beach on the auspicious occasion of Utkal Divas, informed Secretary cum convener of Prachi Trust Shri Lalit Ku. Rath in a press conference held here today.
Addressing the press conference, Shri Rath said that more than 10,000 odia youth are going to take pledge before the Sun God and Sea in the name of great heroes who played leading role in the formation of Utkal Pradesh and announce the launching of ‘Nua Odisha Nirman Abhijan’ before sunrise at Chandrabhaga Sea beach on that day.
Union Petroleum and Natural Gas Minister Shri Dharmendra Pradhan who has given a new direction to the self identity of odia people is slated to inaugurate this majestic and unique programme for the youth.
Mr. Rath also added that thousands of youth will travel towards Chadrabhaga after getting the divine blessings (Agyan Mala) from Lord Jagannath Temple,Puri, Kakatpur Maa Mangala Temple, Sakhigopal and Bhagabati Temple of Konark in the night before Utkal Divas Celebration. Worship of the Sun God will be performed at Chandrabhaga before sunrise. Union Minister Mr. Dharmendra Pradhan will preside over the worship ceremony along with thousands of youth and offer prayer to the Sun God.
After the worship of the Sun God, Shri Upendra Maharana, the successor of Bisu Maharana and Dharama who are related to the Great heritage of Konark Temple will administer pledge for ‘Nua Odisha Nirmana Abhijan’, stated Shri Rath.
Famous Odia singers will perform during this event and a small video film on New Odisha will be exhibited as part of this celebrations.
Before the independence in the year 1936, the state of Utkal Pradesh was formed as an independent state after a prolonged protest for formation of country’s first linguistic state. This marks the celebration of auspicious Utkal Divas.
Today the youth of Odisha will launch ‘Nua Odisha Nirmana Abhijan’ and will take pledge to fulfill the dream of Great heroes and legendaries of Odisha like Madhu Babu, Maharaja Krushna Chandra Gajapati, Maharaja Shriramchandra Bhanjadeo, Byasakabi Fakir Mohan Senapati, Swabhaba kabi Gangadhar Meher, Utkalmani Gopabandhu Das who had dreamt for a state enriched with rich culture and glory. He also told that it is possible to make Odisha reach the heights of prosperity. Instead of the state having huge possibilities, full of natural resources, huge water resources, forest, longest coastal belt and much laborious man power, Odisha is still in back foot of prosperity, So the youth of Odisha will take strong pledge being a part of this campaign to make Odisha one of the most prosperous state of the country.
