Aali: Two unidentified youths on Monday hacked a Biju Janata Dal worker to death in Patrapur village in Aul block of Kendrapada district. The deceased Ranjit Nayak(40) was attacked with sharp weapons when he was alone at the outskirts of the village. The assailants immediately fled after Ranjit collapsed on the ground suffering serious blows on his neck and face. He was rushed to Pattamundai community health centre but the doctors declared him brought dead. The incident has triggered panic in the region.
