Sustainable Enterprise Award program to be held on 20th July, 2017 at Centurion University for Khordha district of Odisha

Bhubaneswar: The vision that was seen in 2008 to build India through enterprise, with first ever longest entrepreneurial train journey across India, covering 8000 kms with over 600 entrepreneurs, has reached the ingress for its 10th version. The 9th version was completed few weeks back, and with its successful completion, the Jagriti Yatra family has grown beyond the 4000 mark. The efforts to help aspiring entrepreneurs don’t die with the end of Yatra, Yatris reap the benefits of an extensive Yatri network throughout, and selected yatripreneurs are given help with market outreach, product development and enterprise leadership. Coca-Cola has been continuously one of the firm believers and supporters of Jagriti’s mission, and for last six years has been among the prime contributors of Jagriti Yatra.
In the quest to grow the alliance to the next level, Jagriti Yatra and Coca-Cola have once again come together to offer a platform to the aspiring entrepreneurs across various districts of India. Both the organisation have defied the odds that have been decelerating rural India’s growth for years. Coca-Cola with multiple initiatives has been helping rural India by creating sustainable and thriving communities, over the years till date. Sustainability has always been among the prime topics discussed across the new enterprises when growth becomes a concern. Sustainable Enterprise Award is an opportunity for entrepreneurs across 25 districts of India, having enterprises in any one of the following fields: agriculture, water and recycling.
The candidates can register themselves on the portal jagritiyatra.org/SEA, and submit their ideas. The shortlisted candidates will be called for the final round in New Delhi, and the winners will be awarded a cash prize of 3.5lacs(1st-2lacs,2nd -1lacs,3rd -50k) along with mentorship by Jagriti. Each of 30 districts will get to witness an awareness camp which will be organised by JADEs’ in those districts with the organisation’s help.
Over the next six years, Coca-Cola envisions of helping 400,000 farmers by aiding agriculture sector with 4000 crores contribution towards increasing the purchasing capacity of fruits to 400,000+ metric tonnes. Jagriti is extensively focussed towards working on the vision of building India through enterprise, and has impacted the lives of than a lac people till now. Over last 9 years, Jagriti Yatra has helped 600+ enterprise with an invigorating ecosystem and reach a level where they have created more than 4000 jobs.
