Kaniha: NTPC Tacher Kaniha in association with Utkalmani Gobabandhu Blind Relief Trust, Kaniha distributed shawls, dhotis, sarees & towels among 750 blind & physically challenged persons on 07.01.2018 at Prajamandal Bhawan, Kaniha under its CSR initiative.
NTPC has been supporting this initiative for more than two decades years since the inception of the blind society in the year 1984.The clothes were distributed by Chief Guest of the occasion, Shri Ram Kuber ,Executive Director , NTPC Kaniha.
While addressing gathering Executive Director Shri Ram Kuber, conveyed New Year Greetings to the assembled gathering. He stated that NTPC Kaniha is always forward in extending its support for the development of the community through its CSR intiatives in the area of Education, Health, public infrastructure & Vocational Training to youth. He also emphasized that NTPC Kaniha would definitely extends support for development of its peripheral villages in future also.
Shri K. S. Sarma, AGM(HR), NTPC Kaniha, Shri K. B. Pradhan , President & Shri Sudhakar Pradhan, Secretary of Gopabandhi Blind Relief Society & other office bearers were present.
