Colombo: World famous sand artist Sudarsan Pattnaik created world’s longest sand Buddha sculptor at Colombo. He created Sand Art on Lord Buddha in 14th International Vesak Day Celebrations at Colombo, SriLanka .
So far Sudarsan has participated in more than 50 International sand sculpture championship and festivals around the world and many prizes for the country.
Mr Pattnaik has been awarded the Padmashree in 2014 and constantly works towards making a difference by creating thought-provoking reflections on matters of the environment, politics, national integrity and religious tolerance.
