Students, teachers of Dept of computer science, Utkal University permanently restored 10-12 big trees inside the department premises

Bhubaneswar: Today the students, teachers and the staffs of Dept of computer science and applications, Utkal University have permanently restored 10-12 big trees inside the department premises, which were uprooted by the cyclone phani.

The initiative was lead by Chandra Sekahr Biswal, Seminar Secretary, M.Tech(Computer Science & Engineering)  Under the guidance of Dr. P. K. Behera, HOD computer Science dept. saving trees are most important theses days, due to climate change and global warming. These trees were 10+ years old and if we plant a new trees it will take more yEars to grow, so saving the uprooted tree is the best way we could do to save environment after the cyclone.

“With the Help MTech , MCA students and also active help of OFDC we are able to save the trees” said Dr. P.K Behera, HOD. Among other Mtech students Swati Dash, Stutee Pttanayak and among other MCA students Prabhu, Swarup Bhol were present during the restoration operation.
Mr. Biswajit Nayak(Asst. Prof), Sarat Chandra Behera were present with all other teaching and non-teaching staffs of the dept.
