Students take oath on cleanliness on Panchayatiraj Diwas

 

Dhamra: On occasion of PanchayatiRaj Diwas and to keep the environment knit and clean, various programmes has been organised at Karanpalli Panchayat of Bhadrak district. More than 200 students of Karanpali high school have taken the oath to keep clean the environment. A rally was conducted by the students and teachers on hygiene and sanitation by giving slogans and showing ply-cards in more than six villages. To create awareness among the villagers on environment and to give importance to cleanliness should be the main motto of this rally.

Swachhagrah Programme is being conducted by nearby 72 schools by Dhamra Port. Swachhagraha inspired by one of the largest mass movement- “Satyagraha” catalysed actions by winning over people’s heart through tremendous patience and perseverance, instilling in the Indian mind, dignity and self respect. It was a freedom movement of the people, by the people and for the people.

Through This programme done rally with to create awareness by students and teachers, clean up the school premises and create awareness among the community regarding environment are the programmes in this drive. Teachers, students and parents praised this initiative by Adani Foundation.
