Talcher: Gopal Singh, CMD, CIL in the last leg of his visit to Mahanadi coalfields Limited took a review meeting of IB Coalfields at the Triveni Club of Lakhanpur Area. After the review, Sri Singh said that he was confident that Ib coalfields would achieve this year’s targeted production of 64 Million Tonnes of Coal.
Earlier in the day, Sri Singh inaugurated the Auditorium of DAV School Bandhbahal. Speaking on the occasion he expressed satisfaction in the running of Coal India schools in the PPP mode and said that all efforts to be made to provide Quality education to the employee’s wards and its periphery.
Sri Singh had reached Lakhanpur late evening from Talcher by road and had inspected the Samaleswari Mines of IB Valley Area and Lakhanpur Mines of Lakhanpur Area on the way.
Sri Singh was seen off at Jharsuguda Railway station by Sri A.K.Jha, CMD MCL, Sri J.P.Singh, DT(O) MCL, Sri O.P.Singh, DT(P&P) MCL and other senior officers and Staff of IB Coalfields thus concluding a 4 day visit to Mahanadi Coalfields Limited.
