Cuttack: Sri Sri University, Cuttack celebrated the 72nd Independence Day on 15th August, 2018, with patriotic fervour. The flag was hosted by Prof. Nand Lal, Vice Chancellor, Sri Sri University in the presence of Shri. Narendra Lamba, Director of Operations, Sri Sri University, Commodore Ghanashyam Ojha, Executive Registrar, Head of all Departments, faculty members, staffs and students of the university.
The Chief Guest of the event, Prof. Nand Lal reminisces India’s glorious history and emphasised that, nationalism should be celebrated every day and not just on Republic day and Independence Day.
The students of Visual and Performing Arts had wonderful rendition of patriotic songs followed by magnificent Yoga nurtya by students of Yogic Sciences.
The security of the varsity did the ceremonial parade.
The security and housing department staffs got recognition certificates for their diligent performance for the year.
