Bhubaneswar: The world renowned humanitarian, spiritual leader and the founder of the Art of Living Organization, His Holiness Sri Sri Ravi Shankar Ji will be at Sri Sri University’s campus in Odisha from 26th September to 29th September 2018.
Sri Sri will grace the 5th Convocation of Sri Sri University 28th September 2018. Around 317 students of MBA, PGDFM, BA & MA in Yogic Science, MA (Sanksrit), MA Journalism and Mass Communication, BBA, B.Com will be graduating this year and 2 scholars will be conferred with doctorate degree from the varsity which boasts of students from 28 states of India and seven countries of the world. Fourteen students will be awarded Gold Medals for their academic excellence. The event will witness the perfect blend of East and west as the graduating students will accept their degrees in traditional attire.
Apart from Convocation, Sri Sri is scheduled to attend various programs inside Sri Sri University. There will be ‘Meet the Press’ followed by the Convocation on 28th September at 2.15 pm. An Educators Meet is also organized in the evening on the same day. Traditional mellifluous rendition of devotional Songs (Satsang) is scheduled on 27th and 28th September evening in the University premise.
Sri Sri is also scheduled to visit Kalahandi in the 27th September morning to be art of a Maha Satsang and the inauguration of Sri Sri Kaushal Vikas Kendra.
