Bhubaneswar: The world renowned humanitarian, spiritual leader and the founder of the Art of Living Organization, His Holiness Sri Sri Ravi Shankar Ji will be at Sri Sri University’s campus in Odisha from 20th August to 22nd August 2017.
Sri Sri will grace the 4th Convocation of Sri Sri University 22nd August 2017. Shri Prakash Javadekar, Hon’ble Minister Human Resource Development Government of India, has graciously consented to be the Chief Guest of the event. Around 169 students of MBA, MA in Yoga & Naturopathy, MA in Good Governance & Public Policy, BBA, BA (Yoga) will be graduating this year and 3 scholars will be conferred with doctorate degree from the varsity which boasts of students from 28 states of India and five countries of the world. 11 students will be awarded Gold Medals for their academic excellence.
Apart from Convocation, Sri Sri is scheduled to attend various programs inside Sri Sri University. There will be Satsang on 20th and 21st August evening in the University premise.
The varsity is also hosting a 7 days State Level Art Exhibition in campus during convocation ceremony. The exhibition will be inaugurated by none other than the founder, Poojya Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar ji along with unveiling of the exhibition catalog. The exhibition will continue for a week. Exhibition will be graced by participation of some selected reputed and established senior artists, who will be specially invited to participate, along with bunch of young talented artists of Sri Sri University.
This exhibition will also be a wonderful platform for all the aspiring artists to showcase their creation and talent. For participation details interested candidates can contact the university’s department of visual and performing arts.
