New Delhi: Saudi Arab Energy Minister Khalid Alfalih met Petroleum Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. Both had fruitful discussions on forging energy-centered partnerships which can be a game changer in regional & international politics for both India & Saudi Arabia.
Both the leaders discussed about major roadblocks like the distortionary Asian Premium constraining the growth of our imports.Sought reasonable pricing & better credit terms on crude imports ,benefits arising out of attractive commercial terms can be passed on to the consumers.
Minister Pradhan had significant discussions on unlocking India’s tremendous hydrocarbon trade potential. An emerging power like India with it’s growing market potential & plethora of available investment opportunities can be a reliable market for a stable supplier like Saudi Arabia.
Minister Pradhan said India’s relationship with Saudi Arabia has gained a new momentum under Hon. PM Narendra Modi. He emphasized on re-invigorating & prioritizing investments in mutually beneficial areas of oil & gas engagement for the progressive growth of both the countries.
