• Minister of States for Rural Development, Government of India Shri Ram Kripal Yadav attended as Chief Guest
Bhanjanagar, Ganjam, 9th June 2017: On successful completion of three years of Modi Government and as part of Sabka Sath Sabka Vikash series of programme, Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd. a PSU under Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, Govt. of India organised ‘Sabka Saath Sabka Vikash’ Sammelan at Bhanjanagar in Ganjam District today. The Chief Guest of the occasion was, Union Minister of States for Rural Development Shri Ram Kripal Yadav. The programme was started with welcome address by Dy. General Manager of HPCL.
Addressing the public meeting, Shri Yadav highlighted Modi Government Exemplary of 3 years and said Modi makes Odisha as the centre of implementation of Garib Kalyan Yojna (Poor Welfare Schemes). He requested Odisha People to strengthen Modi’s Regime.
Union Minister presented government’s three-year report card and highlighted the glance of successful Modi Government of three years listing several achievements on the social and economic fronts.
Transformation of the country’s agriculture sector, which he said will double farmers’ income by 2022. He said farmers were crucial to his vision of a new India where no area will remain undeveloped. One Nation, One Market (Prosperous Farmer for a prosperous India).
He talked about the battle against black money (Demonetization).Demonetization saw 90 lakh Indians coming forward to disclose their income and pay tax.
Shri Yadav elaborated various Yojanas /Schemes Launched by Pradhan Mantri including Pradhan Mantri Ujwala Yojna, Pradhan Mantri MUDRA Yojna, Jan Dhan Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojna, Ujala Yojana, Rural Electrification, Jan Aushadhi Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sichayee Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojna, Beti Bachao-Beti Padhao, Sukanya Samridhi Yojana, Swachh Bharat Mission and UDAN etc. which are some of the exemplary initiatives of our government that have immensely benefitted millions of marginalized and hitherto excluded sections.
Mr. Yadav in his statement said that, Public play vital role in the republic country. People’s representatives are working for them; servitor’s role is to give details of activity report to his owner. Prime Minister says that he is the supreme servitor of the country. As a representative of the supreme servitor, I am here to give the detailed report of last three years to Bhanjanagar as well as people of Odisha.
Mr. Yadav said that Narendra Modi considers Odisha as the centre of Garib Kalyan Yojna. Earlier there was a provision for only Rs. 70,000 for poor for PUKKA Houses which is now increased by Rs. 1 lakh 30 thousand with extra expenditure for construction of Toilets, granted by Prime Minister.
