New Delhi: A Russian delegation led by Deputy Prime Minister of Russia, Mr. Yury Trutnev meet Union Minister for Petroleum & Natural Gas and Steel Dharmendra Pradhan, in New Delhi. Both Discussed opening new frontiers of co-operation between India 🇮🇳 & Far Eastern 🇷🇺 Russia, especially in the oil and gas sector.
Trutnev briefed on the upcoming 5th Eastern Economic Forum to be held in Vladivostok in September ‘19. We had substantive discussions on new opportunities for energy sector emerging from establishment of shipping routes from Far Eastern Russia to east coast of India.
Minister Pradhan invited Russian companies to invest in future city gas networks in India. Conveyed our interest in expanding Indian oil and gas investments in Russia, including in the Far Eastern part.
