Bhubanweswar: Celluloid revolutionary Producer Akshay Parija is once again in news with internationally acclaimed Director Nila Madhab Panda for his movie Kadvi Hawa which got a special mention at the 64th National Film Awards.
Kadvi Hawa has been produced by Nila Madhab Panda and Akshay Kumar Parija, a Dubai based filmmaker. They are passionate promoters of Odia culture, tradition and heritage. “I am glad to work with the Padmashree Awardee, Nila Madhab, and that too on a very pertinentsubject of present day effects of World Climatic Change. It was overwhelming to know that our movie has got a
special mention in the 64th National Award. It’s a very powerful film on a contemporary subject and awards definitely encourage us.” said Parija concerningly.
Akshaya Kumar Parija who is well known for working on different storyline who is also working on one more path breaking story related to cleanliness and problems associated with that. Nilamadhab Panda exclaimed “The film is about a blind old man and a young loan recovery agent.
Ironically both coming from two extreme weather conditions and having zero contribution to the global climate change, fight for their survival. This film is very special for me and I remember the toil we took for the movie. It’s a proud moment for all of us to be named in the 64th National Film Award 2017.” The film had a very interesting ensemble of cast that included Sanjay Mishra, Ranvir Shorey, Tilottama Shome & Bhupesh.
