Report by Malaya Mohapatra; Keonjhar: A regional Photography workshop was organized by Kendujhar District Photographers and Videographers Association at Rotary Bhawan where more than 50 members from across the district attended. The workshop was inaugurated by Sisir Nayak, General Secy, Photographers Association of Odisha and Malaya Mohapatra, Senior Journalist and Photo grapher. Photography is an Art and reflects the creativity of the photographer in his pictures, remarked Satya Nath, veteran photographer before he began his training. The participants received both theoretical and practical training on photography, including subjects in lighting, use of lens, making of attractive photo albums, nature photography etc. We have planned to organize such kind of workshops for our members at regular intervals to update professionals working in this feild about the recent equipments, software and their use in modern photography. We will soon organize photo exhibitions and shows to attract more youths towards photography and videography, Manas Sudhir Mohapatra, Proprietor Ananya Media and organizer of the workshop said. Chandra Bhanu Mohanty, Sushant Mohanty,Rajkishore Satpathy from the state Photographers Association shared their experience with the participants. Fashion and modeling photo shoot was practically taught at the end of the workshop and a participation certificate was presented to all participants.
