Report by Kahnu Nanda; Jagatsinghpur: The state water resource and Public relations minister Raghunandan Das distributed Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana [PMAY] work orders to beneficiaries in Balikuda block 30 km away from here on Wednesday. Speaking on the occasion minister Das said development can be achieved through direct participation of people with government, the PMAY beneficiaries are instructed completing the house within four months, the successful executant would be rewarded with Rs 20,000 pecuniary benefits, those eligible PMAY house seekers have been excluded in list would be provided house under Biju Pakka Ghara a state government housing scheme, minister assured. Balikuda block development officer Kalyani Patnaik informed that 10 PMAY beneficiaries in each Panchayat were given work orders executing houses on Wednesday as many as 1748 PMAY houses would be built in Balikuda block in current fiscal, BDO said.
