Dhenkanal: Post cyclone Fani, the entire coastal Odisha is denuded as tens of thousands of trees were uprooted. We need to bring back the greenery to save the environment.
As a small step towards that, Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC), Dhenkanal has decided to present seeds, kernels and saplings to all guest faculty visiting the campus, trainees for short courses and our regular students- with a request to plant them and take care of them till they are grown up.
This initiative began on 14 May by presenting a sapling to Mrs Jayanti Rath, Former Director, Doordarshan, Bhubaneswar who visited the campus as Guest Faculty to teach the trainees from Odisha State Open University.
