Bhubanswar: Pollution testing lab Envirotech Centre was inaugurated at Trident Academy of Technology by Chief Guest Sri Debidutta Biswal Member Secretary of State Pollution Control Board Odisha. The lab is well equipped for testing of ambient air, water, soil and heavy toxic metals.
Dr. Rabi Narayan Satpathy executive director of Trident group of institutions gave the welcome address. Sri Biswal emphasized the need and importance of such type of labs in present day of increasing pollution. A seminar on “Waste to Wealth” was organised on this occasion. Guest of honour Dr. Bankim Chandra Tripathy Principal Scientist of IMMT Bhubaneswar presented his talk on the said topic in the technical session. Principal of the institute Dr. M. N Dwibedi felicitated the guests. Convenor of the programme Chairman of Green Club Dr. Manas Ranjan Senapati proposed vote of thanks. Head of the departments, Members of Green Club and Solar Club and students participated the seminar.
