PNG Minister Dharmendra Pradhan letter to Union Health Minister for MCI approval for Baripada Medical College

New Delhi: Union Petroleum and Natural Gas Minister Dharmendra Pradhan requested Union Health Minister J.P.Nadda to conduct 2nd visit by Medical council of India(MCI) to newly proposed Pandit Raghunath Murmu Medical college in Baripada, Mayurbhanj, Odisha.

PNG Minister Dharmendra Pradhan on this regards writes letter to Union Health Minister J.P.Nadda .

“MCI’s 2nd visit is a pre-requisite for issuance of LoP & making the college functional for Undergraduate batch of 2017- 18. Tribal dominated areas like Mayurbhanj deserve a much developed healthcare system. This medical college will provide the right boost”, said Minister Pradhan.

It should be noted that BJP youth leader Priyabrata Majhi met H Union Minister Petroleum and Natural Gas Dharmendra Pradhan at his residence and submitted a memorandum regarding recognition to Pandit Raghunath Murmu Medical College at Baripada by Medical Council of India.

“Minister Pradhan immediately talk personally to Union health minister Shri J.P.Nadda ji and officials of Medical Council of India and also took personal interest to speed up the process. The state government has to take little more initiative to fulfill all necessary requirements for recognition. Shri Pradhan also assured to support from Central Government for various super specialities at Baripada.We will definitely pursue the matter and hope admissions take place this academic session. Hope everything will be settled soon.He also assured to take Union Minister Health to Baripada and help with more funds so that the health issues of our district be solved,” said BJP leader Priyabrata Majhi.
