PM Narendra Modi to address ‘Bikash Samabesh’ in Talcher; ‘Angul, Dhenkanal to get piped gas by October’

Bhubaneswar: Prime Minister Narendra Modi to address a public gathering ‘Bikash Samabesh’ in Talcher. This was informed by the Petroleum and Natural Gas Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.

He said this while addressing the media at Dhenkanal, ahead of Hon. PM Narendra Modi’s scheduled visit to Odisha. He said PM Narendra Modi will lay the foundation stone for the revival of Talcher Fertilizer Plant and will address a public gathering ‘Bikash Samabesh’ in Talcher.

Petroleum and Natural Gas Minister Dharmendra Pradhan sought public support, as the Prime Minister will lay foundation stone for renovation work of defunct FCI fertilizer plant in Talcher at a cost of Rs 13,000 crore on October 22.

Besides, Pradhan revealed that the work of LPG supply through pipes will reach to Angul and Dhenkanal towards the end of October. That will be his Laxmipuja gift to the people of two districts.

He requested the State Govt. to provide clearance for the proposed Mega Rural Piped Drinking Water Supply Project to be undertaken by ONGC at Mahima Gadi, Joranda. The project will ensure permanent water supply to villages in and around Mahima Gadi.
