New Delhi: Union Petroleum, Natural Gas, Skill Development and Entrepreneurship Minister Dharmendra Pradhan conveyed New Year 2018 greetings to people of Odisha on Sunday.
“I pray to Lord Jagannath to bring happiness, peace and prosperity in the lives of 4.5 crore people of Odisha during 2018,” said Pradhan in a statement.
He said as many as 17 lakh women were given LPG connections during the last one-and-a-half-year and, thus, they have been relieved from daily exposure to smokes of burning timber, dried cow dung and straw.
