Bhubaneswar: Today in PECUC’s space at Patha Utsav International Women’s Day was celebrated among lots of enthusiasm. International Women’s Day is a time to reflect on progress made, to call for change and to celebrate acts of courage and determination by ordinary women who have played an extraordinary role in the history of their countries and communities. Many women and girls gathered at PECUC’s space to play Music Chair and decorated their hand in Mehndi. They were warmly welcomed and greeted there with colours. They also made colourful Rangoli and played Holi with each other to celebrate the occasion. The children were very happy as they decorated flowers, participated in painting, danced and also played in its children’s corner.
