Parichay Foundation launched project “Prabha” Computer training institute for underprivileged girls with support of NTPC


Bhubaneswar: Parichay Foundation inaugurated project “Prabha” Computer training institute for the underprivileged girls undertaken by CSR of NTPC. Inaugurated by Rajesh Kumar, RED(East-II)NTPC, Shri A.N. Verma, GM(HR)NTPC, North MLA Shri Priyadarshi Mishra, Founder of Parichay Foundation Mrs. Rosalin Patasani Mishra.

Parichay Foundation, which has been engaged in the promotion of Indian art and culture and bringing about economic and social upliftment of underprivileged women and children in urban slums of Odisha and Delhi for the last ten years, is not dependent on government or foreign funding. The foundation has been running various projects through its fund-raising events and CSR projects also has been felicitated by the President of India and recognized by the United Nations for its outstanding work.

Parichay foundation taken an initiative for the underprivileged girls to get absolutely free basic computer education (PGDCA, DCA) at our new Centre Patia, Bhubaneswar. In the beginning the foundation had identified 80 underprivileged girls from neighboring villages to get the benefit along with spoken English class, Personality development programmes to be added to enhance their personalities, so that after completing the course’s these girls will be confident enough to stand on their feet independently and to get empowered.
