Bhubaneswar: On the occasion of Independence Day, Parichay Foundation made an attempt to give a new sense of freedom to its 59 scholarship students by donating them cycles. The students of Parichay’s Flagship Project, Alaknanda Scholarship Programme, can now cycle to their study centre every day.
Living in the interiors of Kalyanpur, for them, the cycles symobilse independence of a different kind. As these girls are toiling hard for their matriculation examination under NIOS, to be held in a few months, Parichay wishes them all the best and seeks blessings from all its well wishers to help them pass the exams with flying colours.
It was a moment of great satisfaction for Founder President Rosalin Patasani Mishra as she donated the cycles to the girls along with MLA, Bhubaneswar North Shri Priyadarshi Mishra, members of team Parichay and Babita Acharya, Sanjukta Patri, Niharika Nayak and Minaki Das, all well wishers of the foundation. This project is being funded by The Shipping corporation of India Ltd.(A Navaratna PSU under the ministry of shipping) under their CSR.
