Bhubaneswar: Padmasri Dr Ileana Citaristi will present the Odissi recital SRNGARA-Shades of Love in different cities in Europe in the month of May 2019. The first leg of the tour will be in Valladolid, Spain , where she will perform at Casa de la India on the 3rd of May and hold a workshop in Odissi and Chhau on the 4th.
This will be followed by a performance at the Universita La Sapienza in Rome on the 7th of May jointly organised by the University in collaboration with the Institute of South Indian Studies. this will be preceded by an introduction on the theory of ‘rasa’ in the Indian performing arts. On the 17th of May she will present the recital in the ex=church of Nigrignano in North Italy and on the 25th she will conduct a master class in Odissi at the studio Buenos Aires in Paris.
