It's
a large tank. In the middle of the pond there is a
small temple on an island about hundred feet into
the tank, with deities of Lord Jagannatha, Baladeva,
and Subhadra. Behind Lord Jagganath is a deity of
Yasoda, the mother of Lord Krishna. At the other end
of the temple is a deity of Lakshmi. Also on the island
is a Siva Linga and a Deity of Bala Krishna.
This is
where the Chandana-yatra (boat festival) is held
where Vijaya vigraha (festival Deity) Govinda or
Krishna, rides on the boat.
