Machha(Fish) Ghanta
Ingredients

500gms Fish (Head portion) 5 Potatoes 1/2 cup Rice 1 Onion
6 Garlic buds 2cm Ginger 6 red Chillies 1teaspoon Cumin seeds
1teaspoon Argemone 2 Bay leaves 2 pieces Cinnamon 2 Cardamoms 1/2 cup oil Salt & Turmeric Powder

Method

Grind the onion, garlic and ginger into a fine paste. Grind cumin seeds, argemone,chillies and bay leaves separately. Fry the fishes in oil and keep it aside.

Cut the potatoes into small pieces after taking out the skin. Fry the rice in oil. When it turns brown add potatoes and fry. After 5 minutes add onion,ginger and garlic paste to it.

After frying a little add the cumin seed,argemone adn chilli paste to it. When nice flavour comes out from the spices pour 3cup water. Let it boil for sometime.

Add the fish to it and cover with lid. When it is cooked add the cardamom and cinnamon powder and remove from flame.
