Bhubaneswar: The Odisha State Poultry Products Cooperative Marketing Federation (OPOLOFED) today opened a Chicken Fresh outlet in Chandrasekharpur area of the State Capital.
It is the fourth Chicken Fresh kiosk set up by OPOLFED in Bhubaneswar.
The Chicken Fresh outlets are aimed at providing best quality chicken meat, eggs, duck meat, duck eggs, quail meat and quail eggs to consumers in the capital city.
The Brain Child of Secretary, Department of Fisheries and Animal Resource Development, #Bishnupada Sethi, Chicken Fresh brand has received wholehearted support from people looking for quality food.
Buoyed by the success, the State Government has planned to set up 53 such kiosks across the State through PPP mode.
At least 26 locations have already been selected to set up Chicken Fresh kiosks.
The Standing Committee of the Odisha Legislative Assembly had recently recommended the establishment of Chicken Fresh outlets in all Block Headquarters of the State.
Agriculture and Fisheries and Animal Resources Development Minister Pradeep Kumar Maharathy inaugurated the outlet in the presence of Mr.Sethi.
Bhubaneswar MP Prasanna Patsani, Bhubaneswar North MLA Priyadarsi Mishra, Bhubaneswar Mayor Ananta Narayan Jena, Local Corporator Suryakanti Jena graced the occasion.
Among others, FARD Joint Secretary Raghunandan Mishra, Director ARD Pratap Das, Additional Director US Patro, OPOLFED Managing Director Prasanta Kumar Biswal, Deputy Director ADRI Birakishor Parida, and senior officials of OPOLFED were present.
