OPGC conducts free health camp for senior citizens in Tilia

IB Thermal: Odisha Power Generation Corporation today conducted a free health camp for senior citizens in Tilia village of Lakhanpur block . Mr. Thana Sundar Sahu, Sarpanch of Tilia gram panchayat inaugurated the camp at 10am at the panchayat office building. The camp continued till 4.00 pm in the evening. Total 348 patients from villages Tilia, Badsarua, Phatapali, Bagnahal, Nuapada, Sapali, Koltikira, Charmal, Singhipali, Bhagbanpali, Bhatli etc. took the benefit of this health camp. Patients were checked up for various ailments like Hypertension, diabetes mellitus, weakness, polyarthritis, Bronchitis, fever, LBA etc. They were provided with medical advice and free medicine.

 

Chief Medical Officer of IB Thermal hospital Dr. Bijaylal Biswal along with Dr. Manas Ranjan Panigrahi, Sr. Medical Officer of ITPS hospital treated the patients.

Member of ITPS Ladies Club Ms. Bhavna Garhwal, Ms. Sarmistha Nayak, Ms. Sabita Nayak, and Ms. Soumya Pati provided there much needed help in registering the names of incoming patients and guiding them to the doctors to run the camp smoothly. Mr Damodar Nayak of ITPS hospital supervised the event smoothly along with other staff of ITPS hospital Ms Sabita Naik, Ms Rita James, Ms. Deepikarani Mishra, r. Maharaja Rana, Mr Pravat Barik, Suresh Chandan, Pramananda Biswal, Karna Bag and Mr. Bisikeshan.
