Bhubaneswar: Women journalists of Bhubaneswar on Friday staged a silent march condemning the murder of journalist-activist Gauri Lankesh in Bengaluru. Holding placards and banners, they protested attempts to strangulate voices of fearless journalists like Lankesh. The scribes belonging to the Odisha Women Journalists’ Forum demanded immediate arrest of Lankesh’s murderers and safety of journalists across the country. Journalists Sarada Lahangir and Minati Singha spoke on the occasion.
