Odisha unit of Forward Bloc announced its first list of candidates for the elections

Bhubaneswar: The All India Forward Bloc (AIFB) Odisha State Committee on Wednesday announced its first list of candidates for the elections.

AIFB national secretary Naren Chatterjee addressing a Press meet here said the party in its first list has announced names of candidates for three Lok Sabha and 20 Assembly seats.

For the Lok Sabha seats, Praffula Kumar Nayak would contest from Keonjhar, Surendra Baliputia from Nabarangpur and Rajeeb Chandra Khadenga from Aska.

For the Assembly seats, Surjyamani Nayal would contest from Chitrakonda, Samarjeet Mohanty from Polosara, Jitendriya Behera from Puri, Abhijit Mishra from Ghasipura, Narendra Kumar Jena from Anandpur, Padmini Laguri from Patna, Ranjeet Munda from Keonjhar, Ratikant Parida from Champua, Sarbeswar Mishra from Baleswar and Bijaylaxmi Samantray from Nimapara.

Pradip Das would contest from Bhubaneswar Central, Debraj Sahu from Ranpur, Siddharth Patjoshi from Brahmapur, Bibhudendra Padhi from Chikiti, Anirudh Mallick from Remuna, Bikash Madi from Malkangiri, Dhanurjya Hantal from Koraput, Pratima Nayak from Cuttack-Choudwar, Laxmidhar Giri from Basta and Narayan Dalua from Bhubaneswar Ekamra.

Among others, AIFB State committee general secretary Jyoti Ranjan Mahapatra, State president Purnachandra Padhy, secretary Jitendra Behera and Ratikant Parida were present.
