New Delhi: Minister MSME, Shri Prafulla Samal, inaugurated the Odisha Pavilion in the StartupExpo-2018, held at New Delhi today where 13 Odisha based Startups showcased their innovative products and services. The Startups namely Homvery, Forestica booty, Orduino, Invoguevari, Bookingjini, Etrix, LAL10, Inhof, Phoenix Robotix, EPSUM LABS, THOOMRI.COM, ZOOFRESH and Innocule repressing diverse sectors ranging from handlooms to e-commerce to robotics are participation in the Expo. Hon’ble Minister interacted with the Startups and complimented them for their successful ventures. He advised them to take maximum advantage of the presence of funding agencies as well as marketing agencies that are participating in the Startup Expo.
The Lufthansa TiE-Startup Expo-2018 was held today at Pragati Maidan New Delhi. The programme was inaugurated by Shri. Ramesh Abhishek, Secretary, DIPP. In his inaugural address he lauded the success stories of Indian Startups, which have brought India to the Startup map of the world.
He also visited the Odisha Pavilion and lauded the achievements of startup Odisha, which today has 302 registered starups. In the post lunch session on State Startup Policies: the CEO of Startup Secretariat Odisha, Shri Samarendra Sahu, gave an overview of the startup policy of government of Odisha. Odisha is one of the five sponsoring state for the event, which gave the state update on startup ecosysytem to the participants in the session. Odisha startups also participated in the one-on-one pitching session with the investors with optimistic prospects of future investments. The post lunch events normally, Growth hacking and De-mystifying SIDBI funds of funds, provided the startups an insight to future growth of their business through availing funding.
